Building upon the successes of auto-generated forms for SharePoint list/libraries AND very consistent customer feedback, we are happy to unveil support for auto-generated applications based on Salesforce objects in our upcoming AgilePoint NX v10 release!
Sorry, what?
Since I know you’re all faithful readers of our humble blog, let’s use a past example to explain what you’ll see today.
Early last year we announced support for the automated generation of application interfaces based on SharePoint lists. In this scenario, AgilePoint’s powerful Generative AI, once pointed towards a SharePoint list, would understand that data source and automatically assemble a responsive interface.
Optionally, the application designer could instruct AI to fine-tune the layout with a form mockup designed in Figma or similar, or take a screenshot of a legacy UI so it could be automatically be applied to the new application. Today that same support has been extended to Salesforce objects.
How Does It Work?
Like everything we’ve done from a GenAI perspective, this is all about simplifying the design experience even further, while still taking advantage of AgilePoint’s legendary governance framework to ensure quality. So just like our support for SharePoint data sources, this process is as easy as 1-2-3.
- Point GenAI towards your parent and child Salesforce objects (both standard and custom), review the suggested AgilePoint fields, and make changes as needed.
- Want to ensure continuity in look and feel in your new app? Feel free to apply a layout designed in your favorite tool, or use a screenshot of your past app and watch AgilePoint preserve the layout faithfully.
- Make any final changes like adding rules, look and feel or integration and publish! Your new app is now good to go.

Please note that this video is recorded while this feature is in limited-preview beta version. Some of the labels and icons might change by the time it goes GA but the general concept of generating an app would remain the same.
