There’s a lot more value on its way to your AgilePoint deployment in v10, and we’d be remiss not to discuss our exciting support for MinIO.
If you’re not yet familiar with this technology, you can view their website here. If you value brevity, MinIO is an object storage platform similar to Amazon S3, but allows for self-hosting. This of course means your data is stored where you choose!
Let’s get down to the details of AgilePoint’s support for this platform.
Starting in version 10, you’ll find that AgilePoint supports MinIO at both the process and forms layer. Meaning you can expect to see a number of process activities, and support for file uploads from your AgilePoint eForms.
Your AgilePoint process designer will now support the following activities:
- Create Bucket
- Delete Bucket
- Delete File
- Delete Folder
- Generate Presigned File URL
- Get Bucket Policy
- Get File Information
- Set Bucket Policy
Now as mentioned above we do also support MinIO at the eForms layer, so any uploaded files can be handled by the default File Upload control
If you’re interested in learning how to use these in an AgilePoint application, please watch the video below.
Note: Please note that this video is recorded while this feature is in beta version. Some of the labels and icons might change by the time it goes GA but the general concept of configuring these activities would remain the same.
